Do or Do NOT... there is no TRY!

I am starting this blog because my life is driving me crazy. I am overweight, unhealthy and I have no energy to get things done so I've decided to keep a blog of my progress - tracking what/when I eat, how/if/when I excersise and how I'm feeling each day. I hope it will motivate me to loose weight and feel better about myself as a whole. So here the journey begins....

Minor setback....

Ahhh I had such good intentions for today.  Light breakfast - rice cakes with peanut butter and jam, then off to mum for the day - went out for luch - a nice baked potato with creamchese/roasted pepers and sweet chili jam.  For a sweet I got a meringue with cream - nice and light plus I knew I was having wraps for dinner - all veg, no worries. 
Then Ellen came over, and she brought me fudge. >.<
I managed to resist the chocolate truffles she had bought and I was good during the day and only had one small piece.  Then I brought it home with me and gave some to Brian - good good but I still had a piece and a half left.  I split the big piece with Brian and had the other half.  150g in total.   
THE NIGHT BEFORE MY WEIGH IN WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!!!
ugh... I guess we'll see the damage when I weigh in tomorrow. *sigh*

Movie Day - first meal out!

Ok so today mum called up and said her and Michael would take the kids so we decided to go to the movies.  We got subway for lunch and that was all fine (except for the crisps :s) but then after the movie we had some extra time and we walked over to BK for an icecream : (
At least I got a good hour of fast walking in today (trying to catch buses and be on time for the movie)

Brian tried so hard to get me to order take-out tonight AND he even went to the store and I told him not to get me anything - YAY WILLPOWER!!

Getting along....

You have no idea how many times I walked into the kitchen today and had to walk straight back out.  I mean, I always knew I ate when I was bored/stressed but I really didn't realise how much!  Today was definitely much easier and I'm really happy that I did so well with my targets.  I'm starting to look forward to my weigh in on Wednesday - mind you, the big test will be this three day weekend with Brian home.  We're as bad as each other so hopefully he can be as good as me because if he gets sweets I'll just cave :(  Still, we said no chocolate until my birthday so at least I don't have that temptation :D  Also, I didn't get much cardio today (other than about five or tens minutes of dancing around the living room with the kids XD)  But I know I'll be walking down the town over the weekend which is at least an hour of elevated heart rate so I'm not too worried.

Today was HARD >:(

So today was the first day ever that I actually threw out food.  I usually always eat what Aidan and/or Lily don't.  Today I made Aidan a grill cheese sandwich (I had an egg salad sandwich and an orange) and he had a quarter left and it was  SO HARD to not just pop it into my mouth and instead walk over the garbage and tip it in....urgh...
I'm a bit more surly today but that's probably because I really didn't get much sleep last night and I'm RAVENOUS by the time it gets to meal times.  But I'm coping.
Today was a toning day and I did twelve different exercises.  Some were easier than others - that hardest part was both the kids crawling all over me and I had to keep stopping to pull Lily down from the table/bookshelf/couch etc. (she climbs EVERYTHING!) - very frustrating.  Here's my totals for today:
